Nazanin Tabatabaee is a self-taught photographer.
She got her MA in graphic design from university of Iran in 2015.
When she lived in Mashhad she has worked as a photography critic for Khorasan state Art department and Shahr Ara newspaper. More than 100 pages of her writings and articles have been published in many Iranian magazine and newspaper.
She started her professional career in 2009 when she was 19. She moved to Tehran (capital of Iran) and started working as a freelance documentary and news photographer. She has worked with many Iranian magazine, newspapers and news agency such as Mehr news agency, Fars news agency, Asia, Shargh, Arman, Bahar, etc.
In 2015 she joined Polaris images photo agency.
Many of Nazanin’ photos have been published on some international newspapers, magazines and news agencies including Time magazine, Reuters, Newsweek, Die welt, Aljazeera, New York Times, etc.
She focused on the issues of contemporary life and issuses, religions, lifestyle and youth in Iran on her documentary projects.
She expanded her career life by joining Tima news agency in 2017.
